Company overview
GeekBrains is one of the top 5 Russian online education companies in Russia and CIS with more than 700K students. It offers a wide range of educational programs in IT and helps to master a profession.
My role
I was working on a redesign of the platform. I worked with the information architecture and redesigned the whole site navigation. Then I redesigned the main pages such as courses, free webinars and other pages.

I worked with product managers, marketing managers, and engineers. Mentored a junior designer.
The redesign started with the new navigation. Old side bar navigation did not allow growing the platform and adding more pages. Another reason for the redesign was technical. The new navigation was a first step in switching the platform to the new technological stack.
Navigation
The courses page is a heart of the educational platform. After the series of A/B tests the conversion on the new version of the courses page increased dramatically. I also redesigned other content pages such as free lessons page and webinars page.
Educational content pages
To design the new portal that would be easy to use and would meet the customer's expectations, me and product manager did a lot of user research ourselves in a different stages of redesign.
